Visitor restrictions have been lifted at a hospital west of Belleville.Campbellford Memorial Hospital was allowing visitors again as of Friday — patients are allowed one person per day in one of three two-hour periods. Those time slots are between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Restrictions remain in effect at the Campbellford Memorial Multicare Lodge after the Haliburton-Kawartha-Pine Ridge District Health Unit declared a COVID-19 outbreak on Wednesday when one resident there tested positive. The Lodge is a separate building from the hospital, but the buildings are connected through a bridge walkway. The staff at Campbellford Memorial Hospital continue to work with the health unit to monitor the outbreak and conduct case and contact tracing.

Additional testing is also being conducted at the facility, and the hospital and the Lodge will continue to implement enhanced environmental cleaning of the buildings.
