Local Case Counts Low - Vaccine Roll Out Starting

Your safety is what matters most at Arabella. Belleville, Ontario has a very low case count and the recoveries outpace the cases in this area as well! Just like Arabella, our vibrant town takes extremely strict measures to stop the spread of germs. It’s true: progress happens when we all work together.

As of March 4th,  four new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hastings Prince Edward. QuinteNews.com reports:

The HPE Public Health Dashboard shows three of the new cases were found in Belleville and one in Prince Edward County, with three cases transmitted through close contact and one case pending.The seven day case rate per 100,000 people in HPE is at 11.9 and so far 3,727 doses of vaccines have been administered, with just under 800 people getting both doses and considered to be fully immunized.

Some more local good news is on the way. The HPE Health Unit has also launched its COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Notification List. This list is applicable to anyone over the age of 60. Those over age 60 can add their name to the list by clicking here.
